A factory audit conducted before placing an order gives buyers an independent assessment of a supplier's actual capabilities. Products imported into Europe, the United States or other markets must meet the product safety, labelling and conformity requirements of the destination market. Failure to comply can result in shipments being refused at customs, products being withdrawn from the market or significant financial penalties. The documentation accompanying each shipment must accurately reflect the nature, value and origin of the goods to support customs clearance and the application of applicable tariff rates.

We coordinate with customs brokers to ensure that shipping documentation is complete and accurate. For clients importing from countries with preferential tariff agreements, we manage the origin documentation that must accompany shipments to access reduced duty rates.
